This dog , that we named Dru was left my his “family” when they moved house many months ago. Dru has been fighting to stay alive which was not easy for him since he suddenly had to find food by himself and he is already a senior too.
A couple of days Dru’s presence became an issue in this residential area and the security guards were planning to catch him, put him in a sack and hand him over to the slaughter house. Luckily we were informed by caring people and our team picked up Dru.
Dru got a thorough check up at Animal Clinic Jakarta. Some issues showed up on his blood results which were mostly related to the fact that he is malnourished. Dru is still very scared and timid, but we are confident that ones he settles he will be fine.
Dru was rescued by JAAN last week after being left behind in an empty house. Dru is staying at Animal Clinic Jakarta until he is vaccinated and after that he will move to JAAN. Dru is already a senior boy and he gets a bit shaky when he stands too long.
Dru needs a monthly foster mom/dad. Please get in touch with us if you can foster our senior Dru.
